Metallurgical Fire I thought Necrowretch would grab the title for my favorite blackened death album this year, but Vale Of Pnath edged them out with this inventive, catchy, and technical masterpiece. There’s not a boring second or weak track on this one. Definitely the band’s best album. If you haven’t heard it then you’re missing out!

mourner My band of 2024. I only found them this year but they immediately won me over with their fantastic music. Epic, symphonic, technical and simply immense in width and depth. Plus they always demonstrate impressive emotions. I often have goosebumps allover listening to Vale Of Pnath. Favorite track: Soul Offering.

Colin M. As previously stated, this picks up right where the excellent “Accursed” left off, building and picking up steam. Killer. Favorite track: Soul Offering.

Stephen Saw them live a couple days ago. They opened with tracks 1 - 4 in succession and it was awesome. They also ended with Burning Light, a perfect closer. Well done dudes!

This album continues where Accursed left off; albeit a bit more refined and focused. Grab a vinyl if ya can, gold/red merge is a beauty. Favorite track: Shadow.

shalrathq A very different direction. Brutal. Feels like a Damnation era Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir album in its delivery, but with the signature brutality and technical prowess this band is so good at. Love it. Miss the variety of the Accursed album, but love the black influence of this one. Favorite track: No Return, No Regret.
